Don
has been directing the Raritan Valley Chorus for the past three years. He is the bass of the Riverside
Quartet. Don has been a public school music teacher in East Brunswick, Plainfield and Bound Brook. He has
taught college music courses at Raritan Valley Community College and St. Elizabeth’s College.
He is the organist and choir director for the Bound Brook Congregational Church. Other activities
include an active role in the Somerset Valley Orchestra, as principal violist, former director and manager; director of men’s
women’s and mixed choruses, church choirs, and handbell choirs. Don is an active member and secretary
of the Board of Directors for the Somerset County Cultural Arts Center (Brook Arts Center)
Our Accompanist,
Deb Fasanello
Deb has been accompanying the Raritan
Valley Chorus for two years, and makes her debut with us as organ soloist in this concert. Deb is the organist
and choir director of the Cloverhill Reformed Church. She is a retired public school vocal music
teacher and returns to the school to accompany student concerts. Deb also has directed and accompanied a multitude of childrens
and adult choirs during her career.
